Given that the glove is designed to provide as much protection as possible, it utilizes more material and is, therefore, more expensive than a lot of alternatives.<\/p><p>Also, even with all of the protection provided with the Maverik Max glove, a 90 mph shot to the tip of your thumb will still not be a good time.
