Nowadays, sports shops are flooded with different types of lacrosse sticks. In the 1960s and well before, Native American tribes played lacrosse with a wooden stick with woven netting. There were no separate heads and shafts and no concept of plastic sticks until the 1970s.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Later STX and Brine<\/a> became pioneer manufacturers of plastic-made lacrosse sticks encouraged by the popularity of lacrosse.<\/p>\n
